Give to The ALPBA Disaster Relief Fund!

 

 

As president of the Northeast Alabama Chapter of the Alabama Police Benevolent Association I, J.T. “Butch” Cartee, am pleased to announce that in partnership with the Police Benevolent Foundation the opening of the PBF Disaster Relief Fund. The purpose of this fund is to financially assist fellow law enforcement officers who suffered a loss during the recent tornado which struck Marshall and Dekalb Counties.

The Northeast Alabama Chapter is a semi-autonomous chapter of the Alabama Police Benevolent Association which is composed of local law enforcement officers from Marshall, Dekalb, and Jackson Counties.  

The Police Benevolent Foundation is a tax-deductible 501(c) (3) organization established by the Southern States Police Benevolent Association, Inc., in 2005. This organization first assisted police officers who suffered during Hurricane Katrina. Since Hurricane Katrina, the organization has provided financial support to families and survivors of officers whose deaths occurred in the line of duty, helped fund activities and services that defend the human and civil rights of law enforcement officers, funded scholarships for children of law enforcement officers, and continue to assist law enforcement officers affected by natural disasters.

All donations to the PBF Disaster Relief Fund are tax deductible and will directly benefit local law enforcement officers and their families which were touched by the recent tornado. Donations can be made at any Wachovia Bank. Just tell them you want to donate to the PBF Disaster Relief Fund.
